Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clinical Coach, operated by the creator of clinicalcoachapp.com ("we," "us," or "our") at clinicalcoachapp.com. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Clinical Coach is an AI-powered educational application that generates clinical questions and answers to help medical, PA, and NP students prepare for clinical rotations and board examinations. The service includes:

• AI-generated clinical questions across 18 specialty rotations
• Multiple difficulty levels including PANCE Prep and FNP Boards modes
• Interactive voice/text answer grading
• Progress tracking via XP, streaks, and levels
• Board-style quiz sessions

2. Educational Use Only — Not Medical Advice

Clinical Coach is strictly an educational tool. The content generated by Clinical Coach:

• Is intended for educational and exam preparation purposes only
• Is AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors
• Should always be verified against current clinical guidelines, textbooks, and your supervising clinicians
• Does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
• Should never be used to make clinical decisions about actual patients

We are not liable for any clinical decisions made based on content from this application. You use the content at your own risk and are responsible for independently verifying all clinical information.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Clinical Coach. By using the service, you represent that you are 18 or older. The service is intended for medical students, PA students, NP students, and healthcare professionals pursuing continuing education.

4. Account and Access

A formal account is not required to use the free Emergency Medicine rotation. For Pro access, you must provide a valid email address and maintain an active subscription. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email address and for all activity associated with your access.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Pro access is available through the following plans:

• Monthly — $9.00/month, billed monthly
• Annual — $59.00/year, billed annually ($4.92/month)
• Student — $4.99/month, requires a valid .edu email address at checkout

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your Stripe billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@clinicalcoachapp.com with any billing questions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and code associated with Clinical Coach is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission. AI-generated questions produced by the service are generated for your personal educational use and may not be scraped, republished, or used to train other AI models.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service
• Share your Pro access credentials with others
• Use the service to generate content for commercial resale
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as verified clinical guidance to patients

8. AI Content Disclaimer

Clinical Coach uses Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic, to generate educational content. While we have designed the system prompts and rotation frameworks carefully, AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or reflect outdated clinical guidelines. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for independently verifying all clinical information before using it in any educational or professional context.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
